Come Meet the New Principals in Five Pinellas Turnaround Schools

The five will lead schools in the transformation zone.

ST. PETERSBURG – Five elementary schools will be holding meet-and-greet events for families to meet the new principals who will lead those schools in the upcoming 2016-17 academic year.

They will head up five of the district’s seven turnaround schools in the “transformation zone.” The transformation zone consists of underperforming schools. Five of the seven are in St. Petersburg: Campbell Park, Fairmount Park, Lakewood, Maximo and Melrose elementaries.  One turnaround school – High Point – is in unincorporated Pinellas. The other – Sandy Lane – is in Clearwater.

The meet-and-greets begin at 5:30 p.m. at the school.
