Registration is open for baseball camp. Pre-registration is required.

HERNANDO COUNTY – The Hernando County Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with Coach Brett Maggard to put on a baseball camp.

Learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun environment at Anderson Snow Park, 1360 Anderson Snow Road, Spring Hill. Camp takes place from 9 a.m. to noon July 25-July 29. The cost is $75, cash only. The camp is open to kids ages 5 to 18. Participation is limited to the first 60 campers. Pre-registration is required.

Maggard will target hitting mechanics, fielding and footwork, strength and agility, catching, pitching, base running and provide educational speeches. Players should bring cleats, glove, bat, helmet and plenty to drink.
