Largo High Freshman Wins National Award

Jeremy Keyser | Yes I Can | Largo High School

He will travel to Boston for the awards ceremony.

PINELLAS COUNTY – Jeremy Keyser, a Largo High School freshman, has been chosen as one of the Council for Exceptional Children’s 2017 Yes I Can Award recipients.

Jeremy was nominated for the award by the Council for Exceptional Children local Suncoast Chapter 176 and was a a recipient of the local 2016 Yes, I Can! Awards.

As a result, Jeremy will be attending the Yes I Can Award ceremony which will be held at the CEC 2017 International Convention & Expo on April 21 in Boston.

The CEC is a professional association of educators dedicated to advancing the success of children with exceptionalities. We accomplish our mission through advocacy, standards, and professional development.

The group’s Yes I Can awards recognize the accomplishments of children and youth with exceptionalities (ages 2-21). CEC selects winners for their outstanding achievements in one of six categories: academics, arts, school and community activities, self-advocacy, technology, and transition.
