Gibbs High Junior Chosen for National Academic Society

Students who display outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment are chosen.

ST. PETERSBURG – Aaron Williams, a rising junior at Gibbs High School, has been selected as a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

The society’s mission is to recognize academic excellence among high-achieving students from around the world and inspire them to reach their full potential. Students who are chosen have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment.

“On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that Aaron has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” said Claes Nobel, the Society’s chairman and senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.

The National Society of High School Scholars connects its members with unique learning experiences and resources to help prepare them for college and careers.
