St. Pete to Host Tampa Bay Startup Week

This will be a first for the city.

ST. PETERSBURG – This city will sponsor Tampa Bay Startup Week™, which runs Monday (Feb. 11) through Friday (Feb. 17).

This is the first year the conference will host events in St. Petersburg, with more than 20 events happening on Thursday (Feb. 16) and Friday in the downtown area.

“We are proud to partner with Tampa Bay Startup Week and host events in St. Pete this year,” St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman said. “Coming together with our friends across the Bay helps our region get on the national map as a thriving entrepreneurial hub. We look forward to gathering with some of the most creative and innovative minds in our area during this week-long conference.”

Events in St. Pete will be hosted at Station House, a co-working space and business club at 260 1st Ave S, and at the Greenhouse, 440 Second Ave. N. Events are free to attend, online registration is required. The finale party for conference attendees will also be hosted in St. Pete at Nova 535, located at 535 Dr Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.

Tampa Bay Startup Week is a free five-day celebration with more than 70 events led by entrepreneurs and hosted in Tampa Bay’s hottest entrepreneurial spaces. The purpose of this event is to celebrate community building momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship. It brings thousands of entrepreneurs, local leaders, and friends together to grow the community’s entrepreneurial identity. Startup Week is where Tampa Bay comes to build skills, meet incredible people, and launch successful startups.
