Northern Lights Solutions uses simulations to help solve problems.

TAMPA – Northern Lights Solutions, a worldwide product innovation firm, has relocated its offices to Tampa.

The company was previously headquarterd in Delaware. NLS serves commercial corporations globally in markets such as life sciences, energy, industrial, transportation and the U.S. government.

Since 2009, NLS has solved some of the toughest innovation problems. The company helps clients achieve business goals by using advanced simulation tools to solve opportunities faster than can be done by traditional methods. NLS is a firm believer in using simulation tools early and often in developing new products, equipment, and factories. These methods give the opportunity to test different options to improve a design without using costly, time consuming physical prototypes. This saves clients time and money and results in positive return on investment.

Located in the heart of downtown in the Wells Fargo building, NLS was drawn to Tampa for the city’s positive attitude to innovation and technology.

“The resources that are available in the region including technology and a highly-trained workforce from the University of South Florida, the University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida are all located within a couple of hours of Tampa made this an ideal location for our new headquarters,” said Roger Tipton, principal for new product innovation.
