Adam Rudd | Largo Medical Center CEO | Business

His immediate past posting was in Las Vegas where he served as CEO of HCA’s Southern Hills Medical Center.

LARGO – As HCA Healthcare’s Largo Medical Center embarks upon its fifth decade of providing medical care and services to the community and beyond, the hospital announced that Adam Rudd will be returning to the area as the hospital’s new chief executive office.

“It is a true honor to be part of the Largo Medical Center family and their long history of clinical excellence,” Rudd said. “I’m looking forward to working with the amazing physicians and hospital staff that are so committed to serving our community.”

Rudd arrives from Las Vegas, where he has served as CEO of HCA’s Southern Hills Medical Center since 2015. He began his HCA career at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver where he oversaw OR operations. He then came to Tampa Bay as HCA West Florida’s vice president of Emergency Services and Management Engineering. Rudd was promoted to chief operating officer at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, before his move to Las Vegas.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Adam for more than five years and I really value his ability to broadly focus and execute on many agendas simultaneously,” said Ravi Chari, MD, president of HCA West Florida. “He has an engaging personality that easily resonates with both hospital colleagues and the medical staff.”

Rudd holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.

He began his job at Largo Medical on April 1.
