Jaguar Coffee Co., which sells and repairs commercial and industrial machinery, serves many national service providers as well as owner/operator locations.

BROOKSVILLE – The Hernando County Commission on Tuesday (Dec. 11) approved a proposal that would clear the way for the expansion of Jaguar Coffee Co.

The proposal is a local job creation incentive and building and impact fee mitigation incentive for Jaguar Coffee, a commercial and industrial machinery repair, sales and back office operations for commercial espresso equipment and local coffee roaster. Jaguar Coffee said it intends to hire 12 additional employees in three phases from 2020 to 2022, at an average annual wage of $37,506, which is at least 115 percent of the average annual wage in Hernando County.

“The company has outgrown its Linden Drive location and warehouse in Spring Hill,” Hernando County Administrator Leonard Sossamon said. “They researched locations throughout the Tampa Bay Region and determined a site on Technology Drive within the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport & Technology Center would best suit their company’s expansion needs.”

Jaguar Coffee plans to build a 10,000 square-foot facility which will result in a capital investment of at least $1 million and should be operational in fall of 2019. The ground lease for their new facility will be for a period of 30 years with two 10–year renewal options.

The company currently employs 18 full-time workers, offers health insurance benefits, paid time off and 401K. Jaguar Coffee Company serves many national service providers as well as owner/operator locations. Over the years, clients have included some of the country’s largest chain coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and food-beverage companies in the world, in addition to many small and independent organizations.
