Home prices will range from $345,000 – $375,000, according to developer Taylor Morrison.

SEMINOLE – A $2 million housing development is rising on the site of what once was the city’s only horse farm.

Arabella Cove is located off Starkey Road between 82nd Avenue and 86th avenues N. The location was home to El Cazador Equestrian Center, the only horse farm in the city of Seminole.

Seminole City Council members gave preliminary approval for the project April 20. The development broke ground June 20 and, on Aug. 21, the council approved the 5.84-acre parcel be split into 26 lots.

Arabella Cove will feature two-story, single family homes offering buyers an intimate environment complete with lush landscaping, according to developer Taylor Morrison. The central location also means easy access to both local international airports, beaches, and the area’s schools.

Taylor Morrison estimates the total cost of development at about $2 million. The community will offer open floor plans with large living spaces, designer detailed kitchens, luxurious master suites and plenty of room for custom upgrades. The homes will range from 1,989 square feet to 2,585 square feet. Home prices will be from $345,000 – $375,000.

“We feel these homes will give our buyers the floor plan choices and design options they’re looking for in a new home,” said Joe Fontana, division president of Taylor Morrison’s Tampa Division.
