ST. PETERSBURG – If you’re thinking about submitting an application to be a vendor at the Pier Marketplace, don’t delay: The deadline for application submittal is this coming Monday (Aug. 19).

Applications are available for the Marketplace at the St. Pete Pier.™ The Marketplace is an area near the entrance of the new St. Pete Pier™ District that will showcase kiosk and tent vendors and their products and services. Seven market stalls and 10 tents will initially be available to lease at this location.

You will find a link to information, including the application, on the Marketplace page of the Pier website or at the Greenhouse, at 440 Second Ave. N, east of St. Petersburg City Hall. The application deadline is Monday and the initial selection will be made this fall.

Applications can be dropped off at The Greenhouse any time without an appointment, if assistance is not needed. Technical assistance with the application process is available at the Greenhouse 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Wednesday (Aug. 14); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday (Aug. 16); or Monday by appointment. Appointments can be made for these or other dates by calling (727) 893-7146 to ensure a specific date and time.

Prospective vendors are invited to visit the Marketplace page of the Pier website for information, FAQs and a link to download the application.
