Co-Working Trend Catches On in Tampa

The concept of co-working is gaining traction in Tampa, as many professionals finding their office needs no longer being met by traditional work places.

TAMPA – For those who live and/or work in Tampa’s downtown core, the changes are tough to miss.

Downtown Tampa has been undergoing a revitalization. Thanks to efforts in part by public and private organizations, downtown has become the focus for economic rejuvenation.

Beginning with the River Walk and Curtis Hixon Park projects, redevelopment bloomed outward into the downtown core. Now, visitors to Tampa’s downtown are likely to see the hustle-and-bustle of construction projects bringing in new developments. Most recently, the much-anticipated Water Street project in Channelside released groundbreaking plans for its $3 billion development.

With downtown Tampa’s revitalization efforts, Tampa is quickly positioning itself as a leading city catering to modern concepts in urban living. For its part, downtown Tampa has embraced the live-work-play concept.

The result? Co-work spaces are proliferating in the downtown core.
